Job Posting: Registered Respiratory Therapist – Red Deer, AB

Advanced Respiratory Care Network is an Alberta based Company founded in 2007. We have a unique model of Respiratory Care that continues to expand in its locations and function. With an aggressive growth strategy, there is an opportunity for diverse clinical experience and advancement within our company.

With further expansion we are now looking for full time Registered Respiratory Therapists in Red Deer, Alberta, in both the home care division and our Cardiopulmonary Clinics. Therapists with experience in CPAP/BiPAP therapy, sleep medicine diagnostics including Level 1 polysomnography, pulmonary function testing, cardiopulmonary diagnostics and Respiratory Home Care have assets which are highly valued. We will also consider training the right candidate who can be engaged and committed to learning roles which are diverse.

Patient education is a strong focus in our practice and skills in this area are highly valued. These roles require critical thinking and excellent communication skills with strong problem solving strategies. One must possess the ability to be highly independent, motivated and energetic in a multiple disciplinary and inter-specialty settings. To be able to understand the value of team cooperation will contribute to a very positive work environment and accelerate excellence in the care for our patients, clients and referral sources.

Successful candidates must possess a valid and clean driving license as well as a clear criminal records check. Medical and dental benefit packages are available.

Our Maple Ridge office requires a permanent, full-time Respiratory Therapist. As part of a multidisciplinary team including our community partners, the Respiratory Therapist assesses and provides therapy for respiratory disorders with associated technologies, such as continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) equipment and oxygen therapy. This role includes advocating on behalf of clients for funding or community and outreach resources; along with providing respiratory education to the community. Our Respiratory Therapists work mutually with our Client Service Coordinators who work in an administrative role.
