Thompson Rivers University invites applications for a sessional instructor position in the Respiratory Therapy Program, Allied Health Department, Faculty of Science. The department seeks an applicant who has teaching experience and demonstrates effective communication and constructive teamwork skills. The successful candidate will prep and teach Tuesday afternoon and evening lab sections (1730-2130) in RESP 2590, Patient Assessment, in the Fall Semester and participate in one full day of lab exams during the final exam period. The 1930-2130 lab section will be used to help integrate RESP 2590 students in their return to campus. The anticipated start date is September 14, 2021.
Baccalaureate degree in relevant discipline
Recent RRT critical care clinical experience of 3 years or greater
Evidence of teaching experience
Evidence of effective teamwork and constructive communication skills
