Thompson Rivers University invites applications for a sessional instructor position in the Respiratory Therapy Program, Allied Health Department, Faculty of Science. The department has broad interests and seeks an applicant who has teaching experience and demonstrates effective communication skills and positive teamwork. The successful candidate will prep and teach Tuesday evening (1730-1930) in RESP 2590, Patient Assessment and RESP 2680, Pulmonary Function Labs and Wednesday evening (1730-1930) in RESP 2570, Blood Gas Analysis Labs in the Fall Semester and participate in one full day of lab exams during the final exam period. The anticipated start date is September 15, 2020.
Baccalaureate degree in relevant discipline
Recent RRT critical care clinical experience of 3 years or greater
Evidence of teaching experience
Evidence of effective teamwork and communication skills
