Thompson Rivers University invites applications for a bipartite tenure-track position at the rank of Lecturer in the Respiratory Therapy Program, Allied Health Department, Faculty of Science. The department has broad interests and seeks a faculty member who demonstrates strong undergraduate teaching experience and potential scholarly activity. The candidate will be expected to teach in a variety of settings which may include any of the following: classroom, laboratory and simulation environments. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2020.
The Allied Health Department is committed to providing its students with a quality education emphasizing a professional, accountable, collaborative approach to learning. Students can expect opportunities for practical, hands-on experience across the full spectrum of cardiorespiratory care in the classroom, lab and clinical settings. In addition, there are opportunities for students to work with local and provincial clinicians from a variety of health profession disciplines.

Baccalaureate degree in relevant discipline; Master’s preferred
• RRT credential
• Respiratory Therapy student teaching experience
• Recent RRT critical care clinical experience of 5 years or greater
